Where is social media going?

12.05.2019

Socializing is now done through social media. This is evident nowadays. Wherever I go, I can't stop sharing a photo without posting it, we don't know why.
This is either an action done to prove one's existence, or whatever the purpose, it is the truth itself.
Today, we are in an era where the missing people are on social media. Facebook and Twitter have started to flow towards platforms like Foursquare, especially Instagram and Pinterest.
If we call Facebook the older brother of social networks, we can consider other networks where photos and posts are shared as younger brothers that are starting to grow.
Pinterest has a different dynamic. It competes with both Facebook and YouTube.
Isn’t that unusual? Don’t people get tired of this dizzying communication environment quickly?
During this time, people have learned to use social networks with digital tools. Now, wherever there is a more beautiful and exciting app, they will be there.
Programs like WeChat, Tango, etc. have immediately started to appear. These offer features like sending voice messages and chatting, enabling instant interactions with strangers. Social media is starting to become a much larger public system with many siblings.
We used to like everything on Facebook. Now, we are trying to get rid of them. Because each page we like has an attempt to explain something to us, so the more pages we like, the more we are bombarded with communication. And it’s not pleasant when a friend adds you to a group and makes you subject to their posts. That’s why we’ve started to click the like button with more consideration. This is another development waiting for advertisers and digital agencies.
